FAIRMONT LET’S GO FISHING PROGRAM

Let’s Go Fishing enriches

the lives of people age 55

and older through free

fishing and boating

excursions that

strengthen communities,

build relationships

and create memories.

The non-profit organization

was  founded in 2002 and

currently has 18 chapters

throughout Minnesota.

The Fairmont Chapter of

LGF was founded in 2007.

With the help of over

35 volunteers our

chapter hopes to serve

500 seniors this year.

If you are

interested in

giving us a

pledge,

(any $ amount

would be

appreciated)

We’d ask

After 12 months of fundraising

the Fairmont Area Let’s Go

Fishing Committee has

launched its  first excursion
on June 7, 2008

The first launch consisted of a

wide variety of people from our

area, from the Mayor, members

of the council, state representatives

to contributors. After a short

presentation the group had

an opportunity to take the first

voyage on Fairmont Lakes.

We are pleased to bring

this program to our community.

We could not have done

it without the dedication

of our caring volunteers and

many generous supporters.
