When it is time for your reservation: Come to the Sportsmen's Park to meet your Captain, his Mate, and "The Chief's Pride". They will have ALL necessary equipment. Come to the smaller shelter nearest the dock, please.
The Park is north of the Lake, just off Hwy 4. There is a shelter, grills, picnic tables, a shelf with electricity for your crock pots, 2 play yards, lots of space for your own games, bench swings, fish house, and smaller docks for fishing from shore.
If you would like to camp - no hookups, $15.00 per night - call Sleepy Eye Off Sale at 507 794 4040 for a reservation. Freedom Gas has firewood; it is located on Hwy 14 - the Main drag - just west of the Hwy 4 and 14 junction.
The park has a Lake Trail for walking, biking, handicap equipment. If you go ALL the way around, it is about 3 to 4 miles, but you will have to walk a few blocks on the highway to return to Sportsmen's Park
